I’ve worked in the IT industry now for 25+ years, initially in the Financial Services providing Network solutions across the corporate landscape; previously working as a Network Manager for Endsleigh Insurance before joining Networks First c2000, leading the Professional Services & Pre-Sales Teams. More recently employed by Convergence Group, I now scope to design compelling Managed LAN & WAN solutions across the UK and beyond. During my career I have attained a wide background of skills and experience, delivering business critical IT projects and associated network infrastructure. I've provided design and consultancy services for a number of large IP Telephony, Campus LAN, Wireless, and Data Centre Networking initiatives for Public and Private enterprise customers. I have a solid technical background and use this with commercial acumen to design and develop compelling, secure, network solutions with associated managed service propositions for organisations seeking to fully optimise their investments in IT Infrastructure & Apps. My skills are built upon practical experience and formal qualifications; although skills are nothing without organisation and operational know how; I combine these skills to defined operational outcomes that are in business context. I can translate business requirements into sound technical solutions and vice versa, I’m able to articulate business and technical drivers into defined design and implementation best practices, putting these into context of any particular business landscape. Lately, I promote and develop Convergence Groups combined WAN & LAN Services offers, so that they are compelling, reflect customer needs, and thus are easily sold.
