Responsible for the design and execution of the New Ottawa Process: a crowd-sourced/participatory policy development exercise that spanned 4 engagement platforms (canvass, experts, online, events), which was used to inform the political platform of a city council candidate. Responsibilities also included building a fact base on existing municipal services and policies, providing on-demand policy advice for communication products, and leading a team of policy analysts and creatives.

Co-developed a landmine detection Dog Cooling Device (DCD) during undergraduate degree, and ultimately field tested prototypes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.The DCD initiative was a result of a entry in the Canadian Appropriate Technologies in Mine Action Competition (2003), where our two person team placed Second ($2500.00).
