Responsibilities included all preconstruction activities for Barrier's commercial business including marketing, estimating, technical sales, and engineering. Typical projects included micropiles, rock anchors, underpinning foundations, temporary and permanent soil nail walls, pressure and compaction grouting solutions, ground improvement solutions.

CONTECH Bridge Solutions Inc. is a division of CONTECH Construction Products Inc. where we marketed, designed and provided technical support for precast, plate and truss bridges. Applications included: highway bridge replacement; railroad overpasses; stream crossings; water retention/detention vaults, underground fuel storage tanks; and golf cart and pedestrian underpasses/overpasses.While at CONTECH Bridge Solutions I was responsible for managing the engineering workload for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast territories. As the engineer in charge of this satelite office, I was responsible for the quality and response time of the support our Charlotte team provided. This office provided all engineering support of plate, precast concrete and steel truss to internal sales team, engineering community, and construction community.Other responsibilities included:• Hired, trained and supervised junior and staff engineers• Technical presentations to engineering community• Minority owner in CON/SPAN Bridge Systems
