I am a Spring 2024 Engineering Honors graduate with a passion for mission-driven organizations and experience in cross-functional engineering roles in highly regulated industries.At UMass Lowell, I was a Chemical Engineering student who also obtained a minor in Entrepreneurship. This past summer I gained experience as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) engineering intern at Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS), a company that aims to develop the world's first fusion power plant. There, I supported the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team in ensuring compliance and safety standards, applying my quality testing skills and problem-solving abilities. Previously, I worked as a Quality Engineering Intern at Globe Composite Solutions, where I performed quality inspections and tests on panels for US Government submarine parts, documented defects and issues, and participated in defect resolution discussions. I also have experience as a Summer Camp Counselor at Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County, where I used my communication and leadership skills to plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for children. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a keen interest in learning new skills and technologies. My goal is to leverage my chemical engineering knowledge, nuclear engineering focus, and quality testing skills to contribute to the advancement of clean and renewable energy sources.
