- Successful completion of a variety of projects ranging from condition surveys & third-party reviews (>$50,000) and FEED Studies (>$1,000,000) and new construction (>$10,000,000-$200,000,000).- Development of project specifications to support the customer’s field development projections, evaluation of bidder proposals (including gap analysis), contract review and recommendations for customer’s legal department, project oversight of contractors and vendors, coordination with other customer groups to maintain continuity of design, review and analysis of project deliverables, development and presentation of project updates for investment partners.- Development and execution of projects by evaluating the customer’s expectations and developing a plan to safely and successfully achieve completion of the scope of work. - Successful completion of a variety of offshore drilling rig projects throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Mexico (>$400,000,000).- Assembly, mobilization, and management of project management and operations management teams to supplement the customer’s management structure to accomplish the successful completion of large capital projects with offshore modular platform drilling rigs, land drilling rigs, jack-up drilling rigs, and barge drilling rigs.- Inspection and evaluation of drilling assets and associated reporting for cost-benefit analysis and project projections. Presentation inspection and evaluation findings to customer executives and provided consulting feedback regarding the recommended project pathways and financial/schedule impacts and risks.- Management of on-site project activities with the project team, customer representatives, contractors, vendors, and third-party witnesses. Weekly progress reporting to customer’s client with updates regarding past, current, and future project activities. Hosting of daily on-site progress meetings with on-site project parties and provided updates to the customer. Assisted the project controls manager with the development of work packs, schedule look-ahead, and schedule management with the associated on-site activities and priorities. Review and redlines of construction drawings and engineering plans for revision by customer engineering team. Management of equipment coordination and installation with contractors and vendors so that all equipment was on-site and available when needed for the installation process.- Design review and development of transportation plans for the disassembly in the fabrication yard in conjunction with load-out and offshore assembly requirements. - Project management and engineering throughout the concept, design, and execution phases of a new 4,600-HP drilling rig (>$250,000,000) for a new offshore TLP for the Gulf of Mexico. Project management for the refurbishment of a 3,000-HP deep water drilling rig on an existing TLP in the Gulf of Mexico for a major deep water production company.- Management of on-site project activities with the project team, customer representatives, contractors, vendors, and other project parties. Weekly progress reporting to customer with updates regarding past, current, and future project activities. Hosting of daily on-site progress meetings with on-site project parties and provided updated to management. Worked closely with the engineering group on the drilling rig design and equipment choices that best serve the field development, drilling parameters, operational design of the facility, and project schedule/budget. Review and redlines of construction drawings and engineering plans for revision by the engineering group. Worked closely with the QA/QC department to identify qualified vendors, qualify the vendors and verify their ability to support the project, and perform follow up visits to inspect their progress. Worked closely with the purchasing department to verify the RFQs include the necessary specifications and the approved vendors are utilized for the RFQ process. Review and approval for all proposals received for equipment and components as well as fabrication and installation activities. - Project management of rig moves with the operations department and the engineering group to ensure the drawings are correct, the placement is suitable, and to develop an execution plan for the project to be completed efficiently and safely for the drilling rig and the platform. Worked with the marketing department and the engineering group to verify the mobilization and demobilization costs for business development and contracting phases of the project.- Project management of multiple salvage operations of drilling rigs affected by hurricanes and slated for retirement, including the management of the demo/scrapping activities of the equipment and components as well as the drilling rig itself.- Project management of repair/refurbishment of platform style drilling rigs and jack up style drilling rigs to support the drilling operations and contracting requirements of Nabors.- Project management of offsite repairs of drilling equipment. On-site oversight of disassembly, repair/refurbishment, reassembly, and testing of BOPs, accumulator units, drilling tongs, mud pumps, traveling blocks, choke manifolds, winches, drawworks, etc.- Project management of offshore welding operations including cranes, cantilevers, living quarters, and the mobilization/demobilization of false capping beams.- Project management for the offshore mobilization and demobilization of vessels and cranes to support offshore operations for rig moves and corresponding activities.- Inspection of reporting of equipment as it is returned to its designated shore base from its offshore location and verified that necessary repairs and modifications are performed correctly. Inspection and confirmation of equipment for mobilization and load-out to support drilling operations and contractual requirements.

- Management of the day-to-day drilling rig operations in the Mexico area of the Gulf of Mexico. Tracking and cost control management of the daily operational costs for the drilling rigs as well as management of the crew change process and international travel challenges.- Planning, coordination, and execution of drilling rig moves to and from the assigned Pemex platforms and worked closely with all parties to ensure a safe and efficient rig move process.- Worked closely with customer representatives to ensure our support of their field development operations and conducted daily meetings with Nabors management to inform them of our progress and any challenges we were addressing.- Management of the procurement of rig supplies and equipment with the purchasing department. Verification that the equipment is being maintained properly, maintenance procedures are in place, and repairs are scheduled properly so down-time is limited.- On-site management of the HSE policies and procedures throughout each phase of operations and activities, on land and offshore.
