Served as a Doppler Radar Manager, Shift Supervisor, Safety Trainer and Space Shuttle Support Trainer. • Coordinated a massive overhaul and a new technology for the USAF called Automated Weather Distribution System (AWDS). Supervised the installation of 12 terminals and modems for the local Air Force base. Only 4 hours down time and resulted in a 90% faster system in gathering data. This system was critical in the protection of over $125 million in DOD resources.• Trained 25 USAF military members in the proficient use of the stationary and mobile version of the AWDS system• Developed training procedures and manuals for a computer-based forecast program during Operation Desert Storm, allowing for quicker and more accurate forecasts of the harsh desert environment.
