Security Architect
CurrentProvide security expertise as a billable resource to Savvis customers.Current responsibilities include:•Acting as a Security Architecture Manager to Savvis top 50 customers. Providing expertise related to WAF, IDS, DDoS, FIM, Threat Management, Managed Firewall, and Managed Logging services. Working with leading security vendors including Imperva, Cisco, Arbor Networks, Tripwire, Qualys, and LogLogic to implement security best practices around their products and maximize value for Savvis customers. Providing customized reports and establishing security metrics for services. Researching emerging security threats and technologies, and helping C level staff make strategic decisions to best allocate a security budget.Past responsibilities included:•Performed VISA CISP and PCI compliance audits as a qualified auditor for service providers and level 1 merchants. Worked with customer staff to document findings and submit a Report on Compliance for review.•Performed comprehensive site security assessments nationwide for enterprise customers against VISA CISP, PCI, ISO 27001, COBIT, and Sarbanes Oxley standards. Assessments included network device and server configuration reviews, departmental interviews, security policy review, physical security audits, and social engineering. Submitted written findings with recommendations to senior management. Performed follow-up audits to track remediation efforts.
