We are headquartered between Fayetteville Street and the Moore Square Arts District; Raleigh's most authentic and historic districts.Prior to starting Monarch and while obtaining his MBA and a masters degree in urban planning, Jason Queen joined the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation North Carolina in 2010 aiding in historic preservation advocacy and development in N.C. and across the nation.Jason Queen also has years of experience in commercial real estate research and analysis. As the Director of Marketing and Research and broker for Kimball & Company Commercial Realtors, Jason aided in the completion of more than $50 million in transactions.In 2006, Jason worked for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, where he helped develop the current Economic Development Report and created the databases still used to track all residential and commercial properties within Downtown while obtaining his degree in Entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University.Jason is a city council-appointed member to Raleigh's new downtown master plan advisory committee, a contributing member to Preservation North Carolina, member of the Urban Land Institute-Young Leaders, an Emerging Green Builder designated by the US Green Building Council, and a downtown Raleigh business and homeowner.
