In this role, I worked for the strategic initiatives team, and was managing projects that spanned numerous divisions and across IT security, infrastructure, and application development.I lead a project team responsible for integration of 200+ applications from multiple lab-sites that were acquired by our company. This required developing a strategy for migration within the constraints of regulatory compliance, information security policies, and the contractual limitations negotiated in the transition service agreement. I worked to coordinate internal IT, acquisition company IT and external IT vendors to successfully complete this ambitious project in the 12-month timeline.In addition to the above project, I also lead projects for various IT Security initiatives and well as project manager for the deployment of a multi-site cloud-based LIMS system for COVID-19 testing.

In my role as IT Director, I was responsible for ensuring our lab managers were happy with the software our team delivered, that we met regulatory requirements from QA/QC, and that our team did so within budget.To aid in business growth, I was brought on at the same time we were tasked to grow a development team from one-site and four developers, to twenty-two staff across four locations. Over the three years in this role, I formalized our software development processes, improved median support incident time-to-resolution from 4-days to under hour, and 95th percentile time-to-resolution from 30-days to 8-hours, reduced support and maintenance cost through tooling automation and offshore support, and increased lab manager satisfaction CSI results by improving requirements gathering, feature prioritization, and ensuring consistent application delivery.
