Academic Dean
CurrentAs Academic Dean, my responsibilities and reach throughout the school are expansive. I support students in meeting our school’s rigorous academic standards and graduation requirements. To that end, I am directly involved in leading and supporting several collaborative teams, projects, and organizational processes. As a member of the administrative team, I lend my voice and ideas to support all aspects of our school, from admissions, Jewish life, student activities, development and finance, and other critical areas of our organization.One of the most important teams I lead is our Student Services Team. We ensure that all students are supported and set up for success by ensuring strategic implementation of learning interventions and student service plans when appropriate. Our team also develops and provides ongoing social and emotional support for students during a transformative time in their lives. I partner with the Dean of Faculty to oversee and ensure the academic excellence of our dual-curriculum program, design and facilitate meaningful professional development opportunities for staff, and provide ongoing support, consultation, and formative/summative evaluation for all teachers. We support our department chairs to ensure that leadership in the various departments is strong and providing teachers with optimal support.I support our Co-Directors of College Counseling in guiding our students through the college search and application process. With a focus on helping students find the right fit, our students matriculate into many selective colleges and universities each year.What I enjoy most about my role is building relationships with our students and supporting their learning and growth. I am proud to serve as the Academic Dean, and it is a pleasure to belong to this community.
