In both the Visual and Theatre Arts department, I am an active professional example for my students. I bring to the classroom the real world experiences in my professional career as they are happening. This practical illustration and theatrical production exposure in the classroom allows for the students to gain a fuller understanding of some aspects in the industries they want to pursue.

RITEA is an organization of Theatre Educators and youth theatre supporters around Rhode Island committed to helping foster the growth and love of theatrical arts in schools and the public. I am proud to have been elected President this term and will work to perform as outstandingly as those who held the position prior to me.

A position given to the individual hosting the year's New England Drama Festival, as Second Vice President my duties are to organize and fulfill the requirements of the New England Drama Council regarding the annual Drama Festival. All six New England states are represented in this festival of high school theatre education.

Since 1992 courses taught have included Stage Combat, Acting, Improvisation, Cartooning, Fine Art Painting, and Shakespeare to ages 9 - 18

Young Artists Academy is an arts immersion camp for ages 12 - 15. For two weeks in the summer, students are making art in a safe, educational and fun environment with certified teachers.

This company had started in college as an amorphous entity used on all levels of my performing and visual art. It launched into full throttle in 2005 with the addition of a website. With the real world knowledge of finance and creative input of my wife, Gina, (who is the business manager of Harsh Reality Ltd.) we have been able to get Harsh Reality Ltd. from a part time dream level to a full time business acting toward our goals.
