I was seconded to the IST - PMO on September 2, 2014 as a Business analyst. I'm looking forward to working with the Business Analyst team to develop and expand on the base knowledge I obtained through my Business Analyst Citation at the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension in 2013. My six month goal is to grow my BA skills while using my 17 years of knowledge of the University of Alberta to help successfully deliver projects.I have been an employee at the University of Alberta since 1997 and have lead 2 different audio visual teams in the last 6 years. I lead the Audio Visual Depot Operations team from May 2008 to January 2010 managing 18 staff through day to day activities and special events to ensure customer audio visual needs were being met at a high level.In January 2010 I was seconded as the Team Lead of the Electronics group that looks after classroom audio visual and electronic repairs at the University of Alberta. After a departmental reorganization in January 2011 I took over as the Team Lead of Repair and Deployment which s responsible for the design, integration, programming, installation and maintenance of audio visual systems across campus. They also maintain the computing equipment in various computer labs, as well as, repair a variety of laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, growth chambers, and incubators.Specialties: audio visual support and installations, management, project coordination, business analysis.
