In conjunction with, and under the direction of, the Systems Manager the Application Developer may perform any/all of the following tasks:• Design, write and test custom programs using the Progress 4GL language for use in SXe environment.• Design, write and test custom programs using Microsoft .Net languages for applications outside of SXe environment that are capable of communicating and updating with the SXe/TWL databases.• Plan and execute implementation of new software applications.• Train users in how to operate new applications.In addition to application development the Application Developer will also act as an associate Systems Administrator. In that capacity the Application Developer must be capable of performing all System Administrator duties if called upon to do so.
