When these organizations speak up on behalf of and with the communities they serve, exponential impact is possible.Rise Policy’s government relations services, drawn from my 20 years’ experience in government and philanthropy, are helping clients win legislative victories, develop policymaker champions, educate those in power, train advocates, and position their organizations as leading change agents.Throughout my career I’ve seen the power of organizations and people coming together around common cause. I understand how to marshal clients’ on-the-ground expertise and the truth of their experiences to achieve change at the national and local level.As Policy Director at the Kauffman Foundation, I cultivated partnerships with dozens of nonprofits across the country and resourced them to advocate on behalf of and with the communities they served.Working on Capitol Hill, I built bipartisan coalitions to advance a range of legislative initiatives, tackling issues from economic growth, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility to immigration and humanitarian aid.All voices matter.
