The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) CPP is a student-led organization recognized by Google that aims to bring together students interested in computer science and technology. As the founder and president of GDSC CPP, I was responsible for creating the core team structure and organizing various events and workshops.Our main objective is to create a welcoming community of individuals passionate about technology and provide opportunities for them to learn and grow. We aim to achieve this by organizing workshops and events, hosting guest speakers and industry professionals, and collaborating with other organizations on campus.Some of our most successful events include a Hackathon in collaboration with the Cal Poly Pomona Association of Computing Machinery, workshops on various technologies such as Python and React, and a panel discussion on women in tech.We also prioritize community outreach and social impact. One of our most notable events was a collaboration with the non-profit organization, Bridging Tech, where we hosted a workshop on coding and technology for high school students from underrepresented communities.As a student-led organization, we strive to provide opportunities for leadership development and professional growth. We encourage our members to take on leadership roles and provide them with the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.Our efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we have received recognition from Google for our contributions to the developer community. We have also gained a strong reputation on campus and have successfully recruited new members every year.Overall, GDSC CPP has been a transformative experience for me and for many of our members.
