CurrentIn this senior-level position, I manage a dedicated department of communications professionals and lead the internal (member-focused) and external (public, media) communications efforts for the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), including media outreach, social media, digital/print marketing, website content, speech writing, advertising, publishing and design.As the primary media liaison, I direct the MBA’s outreach efforts, field press inquiries and connect members of the media to MBA-related sources who serve as legal experts. I also oversee all MBA publications as publisher and editor, including the Lawyers eJournal (weekly eNewsletter), Section Review (bi-monthly online publication) and Massachusetts Law Review (printed quarterly scholarly journal).Notable accomplishments include initiating the logo change from MBA seal to current “MassBar” logo to increase visibility (2014) and launching the MBA's first-ever podcast (2016), where I continue to serve as producer for the MassBar Beat, now hosted by longtime WBZ newscaster Jordan Rich.
