I have come full circle back to the automotive industry, albeit in a different capacity. Last time I worked in automotive dealerships I was in Social Media and now I am working in Parts. When I returned to Madison Honda in 2018, it was as the Parts Warranty Administrator, and have recently moved into the Wholesale Parts Sales. I am excited to be in this position and to have this new opportunity. In the past I have been a social media specialist with 7 years of experience in the field. I have worked as a social media manager for Honda & Toyota automotive dealerships. During my social media career, I had been recognized as one of the better automotive social media managers. Some of my achievements include: being interviewed by the New York Daily News for an article regarding mine & Toyota of Manhattan’s efforts in hiring Veterans, a guest on internet radio shows, an author for an automotive social media magazine & I've appeared in the “Ask the Expert” column a number of times. My “behind the wheel” social media efforts were responsible for my GM being interviewed by Honda’s long-time advertising agency Rubin Postaer and Associates for a social media article in their dealership newsletter and also by NJ business professional Jim Farrell for his popular podcast. Google had recognized Madison Honda as a “Google Favorite Place” while I was behind the wheel of their social media and internet highway. I am creative and an innovator, with many of my practices and ideas being used as examples and taught in webinars and are still being practiced today by many. I have also been involved with both dealerships in their respective communities organizing fundraisers, coat and toy drives, community events and more. Having a strong background in web design, graphic design, photography and videography really helped me add to the social media creative practices and process and help keep the ideas fresh and innovative. I use my creative knowledge to enhance the social media presence through photos, videos, quick commercials, candid shots, web graphics and more. These talents compliment my social media efforts nicely, while also proving that I could have a successful career in any of those creative fields.I do take on clients in a freelance capacity for social media content creation and enhancement, photography, videography, web & graphic design.
