Electrical FE

Overseeing the operation of all Transmission Line activities and Gen-Tie operations for an industry leader in renewable energy. Coordinated with State and local services as well as engineering and sub contractors in the safe completion of a 78 mile Line. Job consisted of Concrete Monopoles, Helical anchors, testing, Pile anchors, Direct Imbed/Caisson foundations, 345 double bundle conductor. Oversaw ROW/Land Owner contracts and reclamation of land/fence and county roads. Supervised all all QA of construction, stringing, clipping and sagging of conductor. Currently working on a underground Collection project in Colorado.

Oversaw construction activities for a private contractor in the Sweetwater area. Activities included overseeing jobs and finances as well as safety and training activities. Assured compliance with State and Local building codes.

Oversaw the safe transportation/erecting/tear down of all large hydraulic, lattice boom truck cranes and crawlers. Assured safety in all aspects of the operation and had an active role in all project bidding, planning and lift plans. Oversaw all invoicing and purchase order activities. Managed two yards in two separate cities as well as a crew of around 60 employees.

At MasTec my role was Quality/Safety on a 345 KV Transmission Line project. I assured quality from the civil side, structural side and the pulling, tie in and completion of all conductor, static and fiber wire. Also oversaw crane moves and activities. Assisted wire pulling crew with pulling activities. Once the project was completed I assisted MasTec in all tooling activities and transporting equipment to the next project.

Dispatched Cranes and organized crane moves. Also handled safety at the Branch level.

Started my career with USG in the #2 Board Plant. I worked at #2 for 5 years, gaining knowledge of both wet end and dry end. I was transferred to #3 Board in 1997. I became a wet end supervisor in 1998 and Board Foreman in 2000.
