With over 20 years of technical leadership experience, I began my career in the reseller community, specializing in security risk assessment, mitigation, collaboration deployments, and data center design. During the central part of my career, I held the position of Enterprise Architect at a leading national healthcare company, where I adeptly addressed business challenges by leveraging multi-vendor solutions.At Cisco, I lead a group of highly skilled senior architects dedicated to specialty partners. My primary focus is on fostering industry and hyperscaler partnerships to develop repeatable, differentiated solutions that minimize risk for their joint customers.Beyond my core responsibilities, I am deeply committed to coaching and nurturing engineering teams within Cisco. I lead career development workshops and teach in GSE-led programs such as STLDP and SMDD. My efforts have had a significant impact on aligning individuals to their purpose and enhancing technical talent retention.I make my home in Jackson, MS, where my wife Wendi and I share a passion for both business and sports. Together, we own a business that focuses on coaching athletes, fostering community engagement through cycling events, and organizing ride camps. Our two teenage sons, Alan and Jake, share our enthusiasm for sports and can be found playing basketball throughout the year.
