I am currently working at Sysco Food Services as a Full time Sales Consultant. In my role, I am responsible for servicing the customers assigned to me in my territory, and helping ensure the smooth delivery of all items requested. A part of this role is solving credit issues, product shortages, and resolving delivery issues. We also are responsible for on-boarding new customers, and there are sales targets we are required to hit. Mainly, this role is about fostering relationships with our customers to promote long term successful relationships with them.

This position was my first opportunity to move into and develop skills in the insurance industry, and allowed me to develop proficiency in product and service offerings, designing marketing strategies and presentations reflective of company’s core values. Additionally I consulted with subject matter experts, incorporating valuable insights into personal techniques, creating more meaningful and comprehensive sales approach.

Similar to my other professional opportunities, this role required me to exercise critical thinking skills in managing work challenges, navigating proven methods and alternative solutions to maintain consistency in sales performance.In the face of conflict, I was able to approach in a calm and professional demeanor, adapting active listening skills and focused engagement to assess current situation.

I worked at Centennial Food Service as the Summer Sales Relief Rep, overseeing the accounts of vacationing Sales Reps while they were away.My role was to communicate with establishments and accurately take their order. (Mainly high end/ prime meats, seafood, wild game meats, and thousands of different food related items.
