Mr. Smith assumed the position of President of aht in early 2005, and has busied himself in that time expanding our client base in full scale decontamination projects, such as chemical residues in decommissioned laboratories, and mercury decontamination projects. Most of the full scale construction/renovation related projects he has brought in are for universities and provincial government facilities.Mr. Smith is also a qualified manager for aht, experienced in managing a wide variety of decontamination projects and certification of HEPA filter systems. Mr. Smith has been involved in the certification testing and service of fume hoods, cleanrooms, Level 3 Labs and HEPA filtered equipment for the past eleven years. He is fully trained in WHMIS, transportation and handling of hazardous materials, and most importantly, prior to joining aht, Mr. Smith was a Quality Control/Quality Assurance technician for a national hazardous waste corporation where inspecting filtration and engineering control systems were part of his daily routine.Specialties: National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) - Certified Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier
