As an IT Solution Development Senior Specialist, I continued to perform software application updates for many of our company's top clients. Our team supports most major credit card clients, including modifying existing applications as necessary. Besides routine maintenance, this position allowed me to participate in a new initiative to launch the American Express Plenti program. This project took several months and coordination between a few departments, including our IT department and the West Interactive Voice Recognition department, with the assistance of the project manager. We launched the program on time and within all the project constraints after months of planning and software development.

Responsible for assisting with identifying requirements for proposed programs and program enhancements to create design specifications, develop with precision, test, and implement code based on client requirements and specifications while adhering to established deadlines, policies, procedures, and the software development life cycle in both a waterfall and agile development environment. Furthermore, it is essential to collaborate intensely with your team members to ensure the on-time completion of client projects and the delivery of applications that meet their requirements.As this role shifted from a waterfall to an agile development environment, I regularly met with a team of 5 to 7 programmer analysts, project managers, and clients, keeping current with project modifications and status. Also, to ensure the project timeline was on schedule, the team held daily stand-up meetings to keep everyone up-to-date.

Responsible for analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing all phases of the scripting and output for new projects and maintenance requests.This role also includes script and output analysis. Script development includes making panel or global edits and adjusting panel branching. Output is also critical to this role, as clients rely upon accurate and consistent data for their operations. Testing and quality assurance are essential to every application, and adequate testing is necessary to ensure accuracy. This role also includes responding to client concerns and issues and solid troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-call support is also necessary to ensure a prompt response and correction of problems within an application, as most applications operate on a 24/7 basis.
