About Jason Thorp

Much of my career in finance/accounting has spanned across audit, tax, consulting, and eventually global controllership. During my tenure, I quickly realized the friction that exists in technology and the impact on finance, the people that leverage it, and ultimately the business stakeholders who consume it. This friction in technology fails to enable the business with timely and informative information to support business outcomes and objectives. The impacts of friction ultimately brought me to Workday first as a consultant highlighting the benefits our financials, planning, spend and analytics product areas and now as a customer advocate. The Workday architecture allows information to flow throughout the business to decision or action points. This means users can plan, execute, and analyze in one frictionless system that breaks down the barriers that make change so hard, and ultimately powers up the people across the organization.
