About Jason Hwang

I am a Ph.D. graduate in Developmental Biology from The University of Western Ontario where I spent 7 years studying how naive cells, such as stem cells, can give rise to multiple different cell types. My scientific curiosity has led me to designing and conducting experiments using tried and tested as well as up and coming molecular and biochemical techniques, problem solving any issues that arose, collecting and analyzing the data, and presenting any significant findings with the scientific community.During my tenure as a graduate research student, I had the opportunity to teach undergraduate students for the Department of Biology, stayed active by playing and officiating sports like ice hockey and softball with Campus Recreation - Intramural Sports, and sold electronics with Best Buy Canada. My colleagues know me as a highly motivated, trustworthy individual, who loves to play sports, with the ability to work alone or collaborate with others.I have many interests and hobbies, and am always exploring new opportunities and challenges.Let's get connected! jason.tk.hwang@gmail.com
