My focus as a Systems Engineer is the integration of multiple software applications programs. This involves organizing with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute integration of multiple software applications into one system. This also includes tracking the integration against documented requirements, risk tracking, test plan documentation, and the technical progress and execution of the integration efforts. Most critical is learning and understanding the customer’s vision and timelines for agile system deployment.

Oversees project management for product development efforts. He is responsible for supervising resources as well as updating, maintaining and prioritizing the project backlog processes – all toward the end goal of optimizing the project management and resource utilization of the product development resources.Provide administrative & management support through input and guidance on new business opportunities including evaluating pros and cons, scoping opportunities, and how to dovetail new or potential opportunities with current bandwidth.Report and present monthly project updates to executing management and ensure that project team(s) hits KPIs such as schedule, budget, COGS, and functionality targets.Acquire, develop, and guide project management resource efforts including but not limited to hiring project managers for product development, mentoring, guiding, and developing project managers.Work to continually improve project management tools, methods, processes and systems as well as manage product assurance resources and tasks for a quality product.

Lead the planning, development and implementation of new and more complex projects by coordinating resource requirements, establishing deliverables and timelines, and creating a project management plan that ensures customer expectations are met. Gathers and analyzes client needs and interpret the information into quality products based on capacity, capability and profitability. Coordinate and direct the project planning, programming, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of new and ongoing projects during the developmental cycle to ensure the project is organized to meet deadlines, customer expectations and are within our procedures and capabilities. Develop and write pseudo codes, specifications and other key documents; ensure test results are in compliance with company standards while ensuring client requirements. Analyze and correct quality deficiencies to ensure compliance with original specifications and subsequent change requests. Analyze the clients’ data and develop the manufacturing method, as well as creating the Client Project Profile and Statement of Work. Serve as a manufacturing and sales conduit while being an extension of the client. Gather project information from Clients, Project Management, Sales, and Manufacturing to help prepare for the analysis and design of application needs. Provide day-to-day technical support by communicating with internal and external clients to develop Statement of Work terms. Analyze project specifications for improvements to existing projects.

Plan, track, and control projects by developing project plans with deliverables, timelines, and issues lists. Coordinate with the client, sales, team members (programming, composition and accounting), and production to ensure on-time delivery and flawless execution of the commitment defined in the statement of work by the client and RR Donnelley. Troubleshoot and communicate the status of problems that might occur in the operations process. Establish work breakdown structures, resource requirements, scheduling and inventory/material planning, definition of manufacturing specifications, and regular client communication as part of the project plan.
