I currently manage multiple technical project teams to deliver hydraulic power generation system solutions to key clients in the commercial and military aerospace markets. I also collaborate with a cross-functional team of managers and executives integral to engineering transformation initiatives. These included systems engineering, technical program management, requirements management, configuration data management, product life cycle management, assurance processes, & design reviews.

Consultant to 6K engineers across four major product companies within BHGE to integrate an interdisciplinary systems engineering approach to transform customer needs into affordable and holistic system solutions. I trained multiple teams of up to 20 engineers at a time while managing full-lifecycle product development utilizing best practices and developing over 20 enterprise-level engineering processes, procedures, and guides for all lifecycle phases. Some key accomplishments are: ● Reducing manufacturing issues 32% by contracting three CAD experts to apply top-down design and robust modelling techniques.● Optimizing system design by training ~200 engineers and project leads in Systems Thinking and Systems Engineering methodologies and practices.● Integral to developing a strategy aligned with enabling digital industrial transformation and model-based enterprise initiatives across the business. ● Improving recruitment and performance by developing 21 competency models, each with five proficiency levels, for technical project leaders to source systems engineers and project leads.

In this position, I developed and managed technical programs in the oil and gas markets, which included leading multiple project teams to deliver aero-derivative gas turbine-driven compressor and power generation engineering solutions to key clients. I was also a member of a cross-functional team of high-level managers and executives integral to engineering transformation initiatives. These included requirements management, project scheduling, materials management, P&ID/electrical schematic software, product lifecycle management, assurance processes, and design reviews.Some notable achievements are: ● Reducing manufacturing design issues 50%+ by reorganizing the team structure, increasing design team accountability, and transforming engineering change order processes.● Increasing on-time delivery of customer required project documents 20% by forecasting and negotiating realistic schedules and delegating tasks to project teams based anticipated demand.● Decreasing electrical engineering documentation cycle time 40% by instituting a new software package, creating templates and scripts, and updating processes.● Continuously improving processes by spearheading organizational change within engineering and design departments and communicating best practices between executives and site leadership teams.

In this role, I led a team of engineers to design, test, and qualify hydraulic power generation systems for military, commercial, and general aviation aircraft and develop software engineering tools including dashboards, risk registers, simulation, and action trackers. I defined design and system requirements by creating detailed specifications and drawings in compliance with all safety, qualification, and regulatory documentation. Some key highlights are: ● Achieving a 100% on-time hardware qualification rate for F-35A/B/C components.● Streamlining hydraulic tubing checks from hours to minutes by creating an algorithm to analyze data.● Receiving the Game Changer Award for developing a scalable web-based multidisciplinary collaboration and reporting tool to reduce documentation review cycle time 20% and increase information reliability 30%.● Optimizing processes including configuration control and standardized system process flow, and product structure while reducing expenses. Improving efficiencies by conducting trade studies on various systems.
