I am well versed in all aspects of working in and running a fleet maintenance facility from the service desk to the parts room and shop floor. I began my career in 1996 with Schneider National as a diesel mechanic and began working my way through the shop volunteering for any opportunity to expand my knowledge and skill set. Both as a Lead Mechanic and Shop Leader I managed many areas of a fleet shop in terms of best value decision making, cost effectiveness, repair quality, efficiency standards, associate relations, and teamwork. I've also had the opportunity to manage many "projects" outside of the normal shop operations including warranty programs, equipment sales, shop parties and events, training programs and associate recognition programs just to name a few.Specialties: Identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to make improvements with maintenance processes. Coaching and mentoring mechanics in professional development.
