For food fresh food producers, FoodLink is a sales platform that accelerates selling opportunities with important trading partners.As FoodLink acquired TRUETRAC, our team and scope expanded in some exceptional ways. This combined capability now allows us to provide electronic transfer of our existing traceability data from the field through the entire supply chain so that before a truck of product hits the road, buyers will have visibility of key food safety data.My role as Systems Engineer involves me in many aspects of the products’ development as well as supporting the implementation and support teams in their efforts to roll out and maintain existing customers.Custom software builds and special hardware/software integrations are also an exciting and key part of my overall responsibilities.I am also involved in the continuing specification of enhancements to our system which are derived from analysis of our customers workflow models and envisioning how we can seamlessly apply our expertise and systems in ways to help these customers add value to and gain efficiency throughout their complex processes.

TRUETRAC provides agricultural software and hardware solutions including traceability, labor tracking, food safety, crop production and harvest tracking. TrueTrac is the industry leader in solutions for product traceability of agricultural commodities. We develop and deploy systems which are able to trace products from the field or ranch that they originated on through the supply chain to the consumer. Producers, wholesalers, marketers, and retailers who employ these systems benefit in many ways however the primary result is unprecedented granular chain of custody reporting tools for food safety management. Developed wide area radar, remote sensor and video monitoring systems from prototype, to testing, production and installation. Customers Included: Santa Cruz Harbor, Port of Los Angeles, CalTrans & U.S. Coast Guard.

Designed, fabricated and tested prototype intracoronary stent cutting laser mills. Including technical writing and schematic drawing to generate research and development records, production, maintenance and training documentation. Customers included: Medtronic, Guidant, NDC and Johnson & Johnson.

Surveyed and delineated wetlands in order to update joint US Army Corps of Engineers' and US Environmental Protection Agency mapping and wetland health data.
