I was brought on as a business analyst for internally developed patient and provider portal web applications. I transitioned to gathering requirements and directly building the configuration for an enterprise-wide Electronic Medical Record (EMR) migration (EPIC). I focused on the implementation of mobile and web-based applications while also working with the main clinical system.

I worked on the ASAP Web internal car rental reservation web application and Fuel Island returned car readiness system. I gathered requirements, wrote functional specifications, updated documentation, assisted with testing, and dealt with impediments for the development team. I also managed the scripts controlling the print stream for rental agreement printouts.

I worked on the development team for the Direct Suite line of remote deposit capture software. I gained experience with this team working under both traditional waterfall and agile (scrum) design processes.

I designed customized solutions to implement the Image Vision check imaging and processing software for financial institutions.

I supported customers via telephone and e-mail with all Creative Labs products under all compatible operating systems. I also performed previously unsolved “callback” support requests and provided solution suggestions to struggling agents.

Before the "Geek Squad" branding, I performed on-site PC setup, upgrades, troubleshooting, & repairs for Best Buy. I was promoted to managing all technicians at Champaign, IL location. I gained extensive experience installing and troubleshooting hardware, DOS, Windows 3.X/NT/9x, and communicating with customers.
