My approach to selling can sometimes be at odds with others, and that's ok. First and foremost, delighting my customers is a core principle that I don't waiver on, regardless of the circumstance. I believe that to be an effective seller, you need to first listen and understand the business problem that's needing to be solved. Once you have that understanding, then and only then can you deliver real value. Sales productivity, in my opinion, is only sustainable after building quality relationships and mutual trust. This has proven to be very successful throughout my career in Sales.My key responsibilities include evangelizing and educating out largest customers on the Microsoft Data and Artificial Intelligence capabilities to help them tackle some of the most challenging business problems today. The solution set I'm responsible for includes SQL Server, Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Bot Services, IoT, Hadoop, R, Python, and noSQL to name a few. I'm fortunate to have a deep technical background which allows me to interface with all levels of an organization and translate very complex solutions in an easy to understand manner. The public cloud has disrupted nearly every industry which creates new challenges for most customers. One of my favorite aspects of my job is seeing the peace of mind the customer has when I take them through an architecture, design, solution, proof of concept, or even a complete migration strategy of how they migrate or spin up net new workloads in the public cloud WITHOUT disrupting their existing business. This is where mutual trust is critical. Another big part of my role is around the deep technical aspects of migrating existing data platforms, regardless of the platform vendor, to Azure, but in some cases I've built a multiple cloud vendor strategy for customers who want to pick and choose which cloud platform they want to use for specific use cases.
