Providing direction and management of a key mid-sized performing arts venue in Hamilton, in the Waikato. Jason has been tasked with steering Clarence St Theatre toward being one of New Zealand's leading performing arts venues. Programming exciting, new and interesting works while growing the audiences of the Waikato. Jason has taken Clarence St Theatre from 13% occupancy to achieving over 70% and he continues to position Clarence St Theatre for the future.Jason has developed strong relationships with with key industry organisations such as PANNZ and Tour Makers along with EVANZ and MTNZ. After a successful tenure in the the role of Chairperson Jason has been appointed Business Manager to further develop and grow the Society's performance capability and financial sustainability. Charged with producing all the Society's productions, developing and maintaining business and corporate relationships; finding new opportunities; encouraging youth development; and implementing strong marketing and business strategy and plans, Jason believes the Society is in a strong position to grow and prosper for the good of its members and the performing arts community in Hamilton and the greater Waikato.

On the Board of Management Jason has lead a successful team in achieving goals and accolades consistent with new growth. Strategically the Society has been steered into the direction of greater prudence and strong business principals with a focus on revenue to support the growth and development of its members in the performing arts. Under Jason's guidance the Society is steadily achieving greater governance principals and moving toward a professional theatre model enlisting key industry recognised professionals to further nurture the community. The Society aims to be in a strong financial position to further its growth and sustainability. In addition to Jason's Board leadership he has taken on the role of Executive Producer/Production Manager for shows during this period including Broadway in the Boardwalk, Forbidden Broadway, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, Oliver! featuring Richard O'Brien, Hairspray and most recently The Phantom of the Opera. Jason has successfully executed budgets ranging from $7,000.00 and $600,000.00.
