Early Years:While at University, I realised that academia wasn't for me, so after a stint in London, I decided to travel to Australia.My first job here was with Radio Rentals, where I cut my teeth in the business world and set myself on the path to where I am now.I embrace challenges and change, so I worked in various roles, gaining experience across all aspects of the business. In each area, I thought about how it fit into the supply chain and always questioned and sought ways to change a process to either save time or make money.Whilst there I was involved in the implementation of a new ERP System. I had not considered a career in software until that point.Discovering my passion:I started toying with software development in my spare time, first volunteering to create a website.I liked it, so I completed a diploma in Business Computing, in less than half the allotted time with an A+ average. I was immediately employed by System77, as a computer programmer.I found the varied work I had done in my early working life set me up perfectly for this role. Understanding general business processes and challenges made it easy for me to go that extra bit further with my service.I would eventually move to the role of General Manager, employing the same philosophy, to improve business processes through change. In 2007 I started my own business, HazelBlue Consulting. I was immediately picked up by some previous System77 clients and a few others in varying industries including Best Flights and Stella Travel. However it was my work with Sealanes in Perth that really defined where I would go next, which was to create my own Warehouse Operations Management System (WMS), eveXso.Today:I am the creator of a state of the art, fully functioning WMS.
