Responsible for a team of 24/7 real time shift managers, I have developed and implemented processes and strategies to effectively communicate with operational colleagues.I have created and rolled out a development frame work for a group of real time shift managers who joined the team with a varied skill set in order to assist with objective setting and to help develop competencies in the role.Ensured the function achieved the professional planning forum business accreditation year 2 accreditation by reviewing role against the framework documentation and driving changes to close any performance gaps.Key achievements in the role involve reducing the level of available time by 6% (13.25 FTE) per month as well as the design and implementation of a KPI tracker to track key activities in order to drive performance in the team.

Responsible for the transition of the schedule function from 2 virtual sites to one central site based in Milton Keynes.Fundamental in the successful roll out and implementation of the our future workforce schedule model, by UAT testing various in order to ensure the needs of the business were met and the required KPI’s measures were achievable of which the function were finalists in the professional planning forum innovation awards.I developed and rolled out processes to track and monitor shrinkages and raise any potential risks to our operational colleagues.I implemented steps in order to track and assess roster pattern allocation in order to ensure we achieved roster fit, which was used when assessing any roster pattern changes and also when analysing the schedule build.Key achievements included the creation and roll out of a monthly KPI tracker to review key activities within the function in order to drive performance, resulting in an increase in team performance by 30%

Reported on staffing information to highlight any key staffing shortfalls to the operations in order to ensure the service maintained service level. Key achievements in the role included creating an automated annual leave booking sheet which was cascaded to 34 sites to ensure this was annual leave was booked against the site allocation (FTE allocation based on national call demand).

Trained and coached Safeway staff across 11 sites in the cash office function that were in the process of transitioning to the Morrison’s fascia. I developed three week training and coaching plan for each staff member in the function, I delivered group training sessions to staff whilst overseeing the transition of the work area to the Morrison’s format by engaging with estates to ensure all changes were made.Delivered function overview presentation to the senior management team, and engaged with the senior management prior to store handover to ensure clarity on any risks or individual performance areas.Key achievements in the role included the successful handover of 11 stores from the conversion team with successful roll out and all roll cash loss targets met.
