During this time, we shipped frequent major and minor revisions of the app, and I came to appreciate Jason's engineering acumen and work ethic to an even greater extent. Jason took what began as a quick proof-of-concept and and skillfully employed design patterns as appropriate to create the foundation for a production-worthy 1.0 app, which we delivered in only a few months with exceptionally high quality. His deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, as well as experience with iOS (& MacOS) and media frameworks were also invaluable. Jason was both a joy to work with and a joy to manage, and his involvement helped make the iOS project a personal highlight for me at Songbird.
