I'm a former Navy officer and have sailed across every line of longitude on God's green earth on either a submarine or an aircraft carrier. I was in a submerged collision with a Russian submarine 20 miles off the coast of Russia, in the Pentagon for 9/11, in the Persian Gulf for “shock and awe," in the Far East for the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004, and on the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN for President Bush’s infamous “Mission Accomplished” speech; and... never got shot in the buttocks.
