With more than 30 years of professional experience, I have spent my entire career working with CFOs and finance executives to address their most challenging and complex issues. As Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte's Clients & Markets unit, I am responsible for the operations and financial health of our client, industry, and marketplace growth leaders and programs. In November 2020, I was also nominated and elected by my partners to serve on the U.S. Board of Directors of Deloitte. I started my professional career in Deloitte’s Accounting and Auditing practice in 1992. After several years of accounting experience, I pursued an opportunity to join Deloitte's Consulting practice and grow the firm’s finance transformation consulting capability. Since then, I have served as Lead Client Service Partner for some of the organization’s largest clients in the North Texas region, helping to lead the engagement teams and deliver the breadth of Deloitte to best serve our clients. I am NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Directorship Certified™. The NACD Directorship Certification® program equips directors with the foundation of knowledge sought by boards to effectively contribute in the boardroom. NACD Directorship Certified directors pass a foundational exam developed by experienced directors and, via continuing recertification requirements, commit to continuing education on governance and emerging issues impacting the businesses they serve in order to elevate the profession of directorship.Outside of Deloitte, I also serve on a number of boards with organizations that contribute to the business environment and overall quality of life for our clients and people in North Texas.
