Neighborly was the recognized leader in financing and building community broadband networks, and in asset management for world-positive, impact investing. Our engineers were mission-driven and eager to apply powerful technologies to that mission, from Emberjs on the frontend, to Golang and GraphQL microservices on the backend, to Spark and Kafka big data infrastructure that drives analysis, prediction, and intelligence.

Created open source interchangeable blockchain components for software architects and developers. Blocktop provides an environment for rapid prototyping and experimentation with block confirmation rates up to 10 blocks/s. Responsible for architecture, design, and engineering leadership in new business unit to create NaviNet Open, a productized realization of NaviNet's custom development business. Grew the team from 0 to 60+ engineers in Boston and Belfast, Northern Ireland. Presented product concept at customer counsel and to investors. Delivered MVP and began process of migrating customers onto the new platform.

Led a team of software architects in laying the groundwork for productizing NaviNet's custom development business.
