From a young age, I have been passionate about technology. At 10 years old, I built my first computer, sparking a lifelong interest in all things computing. I pursued this passion at NC State, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. My studies encompassed a broad range of topics, including programming, networking, circuit design, and microelectronics. One of my favorite courses was Embedded Systems, as it perfectly combined electrical engineering and computer science.My professional journey began at ImageSoft as a Systems Engineer. At ImageSoft, a company specializing in case management solutions, I gained extensive experience in object-oriented programming, particularly in C#. I also honed my skills in project management, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and became proficient in tools like JIRA. My role involved the full project lifecycle, from development to customer support, where I worked directly with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues.After three years at ImageSoft, I faced a health challenge that required me to move back to Charlotte. Diagnosing and managing a rare condition took several years, but thankfully I managed to get it under control with the help of my doctors. Once I was better, I took on the role of Estimator at InfraWare, which allowed me to smoothly transition back into professional life.I am now eager to resume my career in IT. During my time away, I remained committed to learning and keeping up with industry advancements. I am particularly interested in opportunities within the Cyber Security field and am excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to a new team.
