Supervised a team of six developers, engineers and system administrators whom are responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance and functionality of all college-wide software applications. Assigned and reviewed the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers in the division. Directed daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.Major accomplishments include being one of the first institutions to develop real-time integration between ERP Student Information System and third-party CRM Admissions platform using RESTful API, Web Services, and ETL data exchange.Managed technology projects for the enhancement of existing college-wide systems, implementation of new business software, as well as facilitated in process engineering in all administrative departments. Some initiatives include electronic transcript ordering service, a Student/Faculty Advisement self-service website application, Financial Aid self-service website application and expansion of electronic document management to other offices at the college.Organized and chaired bi-weekly meetings with all administrative areas represented by a technical liaison. Its purpose is to promote new technology initiatives, share ideas to enhance business processing in all facets of the college, and demonstrate transparency of our division by providing a technology road map towards operational effectiveness.Regularly collaborate with other Information Technology Directors, vendors, members of the President’s Cabinet and Directors in all administrative areas to improve operational, business processes and further student success and satisfaction in alignment with the strategic and operational plans.Recruited, hired, and trained immediate staff. Let major migration project of college’s student information system, Ellucian Colleague from at Oracle database to SQL Server.Regularly meet with administrative offices to determine business needs, inefficiencies, and evaluation of processes; and to subsequently recommend solutions to departments.Write reports, project proposals, and procedure manuals to provide clear communication and a level of transparency for those departments for whom we serve.
