I started my career by working for MTV as a casting assistant on a TV show called Dismissed, I worked the first season before moving on to work for Cardboard Robot, a boutique clothing line for 5+ years, almost since the inaguration of the company starting in sales, then moving on to production. Finally settling in as the marketing director. As is with most start ups, I learned every aspect of the business over a five years I worked there.I co-founded WhiteLite Productions which later became Control Forever. We produced events such as: The Sci-Arc Warehouse Masquerade, Local Heroes Warehouse Party, w/ Crystal Castles, Classixx, Fat Lip, Skeet Skeet, Guns N Bombs, + more. We then moved on to Orange County and created Made You Look at monthly event that ran for 18 months, formerly held at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, CA which featured acts such as Steve Aoki and Africa Bambaataa. The longest lasting project is Control Fridays hosted at Avalon in Hollywood which was conceptualized in late 2008 and ran through 2020, in 2013 Control expanded into San Francisco where it hosted events for 3 years before the venue closed for remodel. Our goal is to create events that people will remember for years to come, and Control is now one of the longest running events in the world, where it hosted over 500 events up and down the west coast.Shortly after White Lite Productions was founded in 2006, I launched my own management company titled, Technique Management where the client roster included such names as: PeaceTreaty, Blake Miller, Cold Blank, MAKJ, Chris James and Whiiite, where I oversaw artists careers from their inception into major international touring acts.Missing my roots in fashion, I opened a retail boutique in The Lab in Costa Mesa called Lobby where I handled the mens and home goods buying. Lobby was known to carry brands that were not typically found in Orange County.
