Setting up and managing credit accounts for stores in the Benelux selling Vans and/or Reef products. Duties include the following: ● Maintaining a clear communication with customers, either on the phone or through e-mail, regarding previous or future payments, their account and other account related queries. ● Conducting financial reviews to measure the financial strength of potential and/or existing customers. ● Allocating a stream of payments to their specific invoices on their specific accounts. ● Ensuring a steady and timely stream of payments from the customers towards our account by means of clear and stern communication whilst keeping an open mind in regards to the customers possible lack of financial strength and offering the possibility of a payment plan and/or other payment terms.● Overseeing the accounting activity of 500+ active accounts of customers coming from The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, including several large buying groups.

• Conducted business to business contract negotiations with hotels, tours and similar tourism aimed facilities from the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.• Ensured smooth and direct communication with suppliers and subcontractors regarding reservations, contracting, accounts payable, etcetera, which led to saving 2 – 3 months of time in finalizing contracts that year. • Trained 4 interns in navigating the internal software systems and company policies regarding communication methods.• Resolved 50+ reservation disputes and scheduling conflicts through thoughtful negotiations to ensure the continuity of our business relations.• Reached out to hotels and attractions for new contracts and/or renewal of existing contracts.• Oversaw existing allotment control and created new allotment based of new contracts or addendums. • Analysed vendor contracts and converted complex terms and conditions into company specific financial files for smooth contract execution.• Revamped filing processes and transformed a labour intensive filing system into a comprehensible and efficient system.
