Vietnam

-Through the course of a 6 week period, I was involved in restoring the local environmental practices of ethnic minority communities in the Mekong Region. I primarily focused on Traditional Ecological Knowledge practices and restoration work in Northern Vietnam and Laos. -I was also part of the group to establish an economic plan to ensure farmer independence in the modern market.

Leg 26 (Key West - Panama)

-Volunteer crew member on the support boat to the Hōkūleʻa during the Polynesian Voyaging Society's "Mālama Honua" Worldwide Voyage. -As crew, my responsibilities were to ensure the safety of the Hōkūleʻa by monitoring chart plotters and AIS units, as well as all other sailing duties at all hours of the day.

Virgin Islands (U.S.)

-Worked directly with the Resource Division on bringing their Turtle Monitoring and Research Program back up and running efficiently. -Implemented strategies for invasive species control for National Park Service turtle monitoring program-Used GIS to create benthic habitat maps to be used as baseline data for future NPS & USGS research. -Used Garmin track then lay those data points onto a digital map to be used by future research interns/volunteers to get to hard to access nesting locations

-Developed and executed island-wide environmental campaign on coral reefs in collaboration with and under the direction of Board of Directors and non-profit staff-Daily conversation on the surrounding ecosystems with Virgin Islands youth at eco-summer camp

Santa Rosa, Ca

-Managed Social Media accounts, and maintained online calendars for the Fairgrounds-Conducted advertising campaigns on local news sites and newspapers

Healdsburg, Ca

- Ran initial assessments on incoming repairs - Wrote work orders for customer bikes- Conducted tune-ups and all basic mechanical repairs for all bikes that came through the shop- Built and sold bikes for the sales floor
