I’m a strategic designer, who always tries to challenge conventions and thinks of design as a mindset rather than a profession. I believe that a design mindset allows you to cross pollinate, by connecting the never before connected, which in my opinion is the base for innovation. I aspire to uncover opportunities within the connection of ideas, technologies ,trends and developments to create ideas that break conventions
Listed skills include Graphic Design, Strategic Business Advice, Product Innovation, Product Development, and 29 others.

Agile practices are gaining interest and adoption far beyond small co-located software development teams. However, scaling agile practices brings along many new challenges. One area that has received little attention in the scaled agile literature is the management of innovation. How do you effectively manage innovation when you scale agile to the entire organisation? A question that has and will keep me busy the for the next couple of months at ABN AMRO.

Some of my responsibilities and tasks included:• Writing up "User Stories", prioritising them and kicking them off with the team making sure that every new story tackled is understood by everyone. • Looking after team-performance through monitoring and updating project statistics for example "Velocity" and "Burn-Up Charts". • Doing Competitive Audits on different industries that help in shaping; the product design, the product Roadmap and the product Vision. • Work on product vision statements together with a team and continuously (re)align this vision statement with the clients wishes. • Organise and facilitate a sprint retrospective that helps in reflecting on a sprint, things that went well, things that didn’t, and defining actions that attempt to improve the upcoming sprint.• Facilitate daily-stand ups with the team that align all team member and highlight any possible blockers so that we can swarm on things that need resolving, together. • Managing and prioritising the backlog making sure the most important features are finished first and are handed to the team at the right pace. • Presenting progress to the client during ad-hoc conversations, Sprint reviews, and planned demo sessions. Making sure the client is happy with the product and incorporating/translating their feedback into concrete alterations of the backlog/user stories. Show less

Summarised these findings into a presentation I held for the EDU NL team internally. • Organised Microsofts' attendance at an entrepreneurial-student event at which I facilitated a "Big-Data"-workshop. • Worked on a concept that enabled technical students to have their University desktop available 24/07 from any location, so that they could have access to the computing power they need for 3D visualisations for instance. Which seriously improved my knowledge on cloud computing. • Managed and created all marketing and communication surrounding an event that aimed to bring together decision-makers in education and government to think about the future of education and what role technology plays in it.
