Responsible for the manual and automatic operation of the turbine and its auxiliaries in coordination with local operation personnel and other support groups for safe, efficient, reliable and economical continuos operation of the plant.• Starts-up turbine auxiliaries; services Bearing Cooling Water and House Service Air Compressor/Instrument Air Compressor System, start Circulating Water Pump System, sets up turbine oil tank, Auxiliary Oil Pump, Seal Oil System, Jacking Oil Pump, and Turning Gear Oil Pump, services turning gear/device, starts up turbine oil purifier/separator.• Services Condensate and Feedwater systems; maintains Hotwell level, starts Condensate Extraction Pump, fills up and maintains Condensate Storage Tank level, starts up Boiler Feed Pumps and heater drain valves and pump and coordinate with Water Laboratory personnel regarding the recirculation of feedwater during start-up.• Tends turbine and auxiliary equipments, controls operating limits, monitors and maintains turbine parameters.• Prepares and set turbine for rolling; resets speed governor and load limiting device, resets turbine control valves, warms up turbine steam chest, confirms opening of turbine control valve, stops turning gear, sets turbine at soaking speed, matches turbine metal temperature, sets turbine at synchronizing speed.• Performs post synchronization activities; services initial pressure regulator/IPR, transfer turbine control.Coordinate with Boiler Control Engineer and Electrical Control Engineer during start-up and shutdown of the turbine.• Sets the turbine and its auxiliary for safety isolation during maintenance work. Coordinates with maintenance in the safe conduct of equipment repair/restoration.• Observes safety and corporate rules, proper turn-over of responsibilities, clearance and tagging procedure and performs good housekeeping.

Responsible for the manual and automatic operation of electrical controls at the switchboard, the regulation of electric generating units to meet power demands and continuous stable station service and maintain reliable, efficient, economical and safe operation of the generator unit.• Observes and controls unit electrical generation output to achieve and deliver required real time dispatch load target. • Consistently communicates to Power Management Center (LRCC-NGCP) to distribute fairly system losses to all plants.• Ensures that the generator and its auxiliaries are at their best reliable condition to achieve the desired availability target. • Follows standard operating procedures and observes limitation on energizing electrical apparatuses and equipment.• Careful switching of incoming power from generator transformer to auxiliary transformers after synchronization when unit load reaches 20%.• Synchronizes generator to the grid. • Communicates with maintenance group whenever abnormality is noted from any electrical systems for continuity of operation.• Analyses data especially when there is big deviation in the reading and reporting to concerned group for immediate restoration if beyond operator’s control.• Inspects equipment conditions such as wirings, relays availability, cooling systems, groundings, breakers and DS status and monitoring devices to ensure operability.• Issues and approves ECOs, LOTOs for safe troubleshooting and maintenance of people and equipment

Responsible for the inspection of all electrical equipment, apparatus, station batteries, plant lighting system and communication facilities, performs switching operation at the substation and troubleshooting on any electrical faults on equipment, control breakers, circuits and various plant electrical system that may be encountered during the shift. • Monitors system frequency/status, emergency diesel generator, diesel tank level for diesel gensets, and station batteries.• Performs weekly run test of emergency diesel generator.• Inspects switchgears conditions such as wirings, relays availability and monitoring devices • Follows standard operating procedures and observes limitation on energizing electrical apparatuses and equipment.• Assists EM, carefully and individually isolate loadings or transfer loads to another available motor control centers before isolation.• Monitors, logs and controls generator and other electrical parameters and assures that values are within range of normality. • Ensures accurate documentation of all important data and events since these will serve us guide in tracking historical events and equipment performance in the past.• Off-servicing and servicing of medium and low voltage switchgears with assistance from Electrical Maintenance.• Follows standard operating procedures and observes limitation on energizing electrical apparatuses and equipment
