Optimization and simulation of a capillary microfluidic platform for point-of-care immunoassays. Which included the design and rapid-rototype manufacturing of microfluidic chips by stereolithography (3d-printing), as well as validation of these chips compared to WHO standards in their detection for measles virus antibodies. To gain a broader understanding of the physical processes in these immunoassays, an in silico model was created to simulate binding kinetics.
