Working within the overseas fabrication business unit, I was tasked with managing two chinese national IT support officers located in our international office and workshops.Some achievements or Improvements made for the business unit are- Providing cost saving initiatives- Setting up ESXi 5 hosts running Virtual Machines and where possible migrating physical servers to VM’s- Testing and creating SOE Windows 7 for new hardware coming on board- Building Serv-U FTP server- Successfully rolling out SEPM replication between Perth and Overseas office

I was the core support for Perth head office (Boral Construction Materials).- Working autonomously in region with core IT department located in Sydney- Supporting and ensuring the concrete call center systems were operational- Supporting the roll out of Kronos time clocks within the business group- Troubleshooting, PC, Mail, and iPhone issues

Overseas fabrication company part of the Monadelphous group.My main roles were:- Liaising with overseas internet service providers in preparation of new remote sites- Connecting Cisco Router, Switch and Riverbed's on site after being configured by our Comm's team and ensuring that the site is operational after installation.- Asset maintenance of all IT hardware fleet within the business unit- Procurement of all IT hardware within the business unit- Troubleshooting users remotely

Managed service provider, with major contracts of providing hardware and support to government departments.Achievements within the company was when appointed to lead the Desktop Support team members which were comprised of members from other multiple managed service companies.Other daily tasks involved me in- Troubleshoot and Repair IBM Laptops and Desktops- Onsite troubleshooting of IBM Desktops and Laptops- Exposure to troubleshooting server hardware
