Excited to announce I will be starting an internship with Collingwood Football Club as a AFLW Performance Analyst

I am thrilled to announce that I have begun a new role within Deakin University Sport Society as a general committee member. Having enjoyed my valuable time this past year within the committee, I am glad to continue meeting people within the sports industry and continue to build my professional skills.

Working as the voice of the first years within the sports society, providing ideas and assisting the society to be the best it can be.Throughout the year was able to be involved in key events of up to 100 attendees, assisting in organising both food and drinks for the events and professional guests.Built on key interpersonal skills through joining DUSS, meeting and working with new people which are now a key part of my professional relationships. Furthermore, interacting with likeminded people at our events allowed me to build confidence and develop my interpersonal skills.

This position has allowed me to continue to develop in the following areas and skills. - Increased responsibility through managing the whole venue both back of house and front of house, up to 20 staff members to provide the best service possible and continue to build my leadership within the team. - Dealing with customer conflicts on a regular basis allowing myself to improve conflict resolution as well as problem solving skills in a pressure environment.

Working at Portsea for over two years provided me with valuable experience and develop key skills such as:- Awarded the 'Summer Star' award for my dedication and hard work over the summer period, responsible for up to 400 customers at a single time. - Promoted to supervisor, whereby I managed all areas of the front of house, delegating up to 30 staff members on a day to ensure service ran efficiently and effectively.- Was able to develop key interpersonal skills through my responsibility in training staff and up skilling them in order to be the best worker they could be.
