Within the role of BDM, I focus on generating new business (sales) and to promote Ingenico’s Payment Platform. I do this by creating value through the analysis of the merchant’s IT infrastructure and the Customer Journey on the website. This allows me to make recommendations that contribute to increased efficiency and improves the online user experience of the website.Main focus is the SME segment in West and Eastern Europe, with a broad portfolio in Retail, Airlines, Travel, and the Lodging industry. Ingenico’s experience and extensive product portfolio enabled me to make various recommendations & position different solutions. Whether it concerns domestic payment processing for an individual business owner, or FX solutions for international airlines.

Within the position of Treasury Analyst that I fulfilled, I mainly focussed on two key areas, namely:• Payment Service Provider (PSP) management• Cash management The wide range of Suitsupply’s local supported payment methods in both its online – and offline sales channels emphasise on its Omni – Channel strategy. While this creates a competitive advantage, it also poses internal challenges in terms of mapping, FX and flow of funds. My key accountabilities while managing the different PSP’s are:• Negotiate the fees and contracts with PSP’s. • Ensure Suitsupply’s organisational needs are implemented in these contracts.• Set up of global structure of merchant accounts, according to entity structure and payout strategy.• Execution of cost-benefit matrices by conducting thorough analysis of possible payout methods.• Ensure timely settlement of all payment methods and solve unidentified transactions. Furthermore, while managing cash on a global basis in more than 25 countries I: • Forecast liquidity and cash flow on short term basis.• Ensure optimal usage of the financing facilities of the group. • Timely execute intercompany transactions on group current accounts• Actively improve and develop the group’s cash pooling arrangements.• Process the group’s actuals to ensure valid and reliable data within TMS. Other responsibilities are:• Laying out the global cash collection structure by negotiating the cash vault/in transit contracts• Monitoring and improving the day-to-day cash collection activities within the operation.• Administer the bank guarantee management of the group including LoC’s.

When I became responsible for the process, there was no training, documentation, knowledge or consistency. I conducted extensive research in order to shape, standardise and document the process of how to successfully refute disputes in order to avoid chargebacks.As a result, chargeback rates dropped and significant amounts of costs were reduced.
