Together with a project team, as projectmanager I am responsible for opening all the new stores for Coolblue and improve the store coverage within the Netherlands and Belgium. Opening new stores includes a wide variety of tasks: picking the optimal locations for our stores, making a profitable business cases, negotiating contracts with landlords, construction work, enrolling our store concept and making sure everybody knows about the new store through marketing campaigns.

Responsible for the development and implementation of a new storeconcept for our physical Coolblue stores. This contained the writing of a commercial plan and later a creative briefing, developing a new store concept (including customer journeys, way-finding and advising the customers), developing new furniture, supervising the construction of the store and finally opening it with a big campaign.

Managing key accounts on vendor level within Coolblue. Setting up new ways of sharing information between our internal stakeholders and the vendors we work with. Coordinating en hosting meetings between the Coolblue board and board members of our premium partners where we discuss long term strategy, but also quick wins. All to strengthen our relationship. After these meetings it is also my job to make sure there is follow-up and development of all the insights.

As a manager responsible for 15 people within my team. The team worked on different means to create an increase in sales and enlarge the top-of-mind brand awareness of Coolblue. This was done with a monthly brochure, posters, banner positions on the website, out-of-home campaigns, tv-commercials and social media.

Responsible for generating media income for different categories: outdoor products, smartphones and subscriptions.To do this I set up strategic visibility campaigns together with the Trade Marketeers of our most important brands and vendors (including banner campaigns, social media campaigns, AdWords bids, e-mail and stores).

Within this Varsity organizing committee we were responsible for the preparation and staging of the 129th edition of the Dutch National University Rowing Championships. www.varsity.nl
