Hello! I’m Jasper and I’m currently in my third year at University of Warwick studying English Literature and Creative Writing.I’m an ambitious and talented young writer with a particular interest in a career in broadcast journalism. I’m a regular contributor to the Warwick Boar, the student-led newspaper, covering events from 2024’s Podcast Show in London’s Business Design Centre, to the effect of Israel’s war in Gaza on the climate. I also host and produce a podcast for Warwick PLAN’s campus magazine Planorama, in addition to hosting a weekly radio show on Warwick RAW. In addition to this, I have a passion for all forms of creative writing, including poetry, prose and screenwriting. I enjoy performing my poetry at open mic nights and have had my work published in various campus magazines.In 2023, I was elected Events Officer for Warwick Literature Society, a role which involved planning, organising and leading different large-scale events with the society. My success in this role led me to be elected as Vice-President for the society in 2024, in addition to another role as Creative Coordinator, something which I am extremely excited to leave my mark upon in the coming year.Overall, I’m a driven, passionate and dedicated individual, with successful and appraised experience writing in a vast array of forms. I’m extremely creative, bold, unique and always willing to learn from others. My enthusiasm, creative flair and outgoing personality make me an asset for any project I may get the opportunity to be a part of.
